Law clerk to Judge Stephen Eilperin, Superior Court of the District of Columbia, 1989-90. Attorney. Executive Director, The Arca Foundation, Washington, DC, 2000-08. Assistant Director, United Nations Development Program (Development Forum, Department of Economic & Social Information), 1980-82. Project engineer, Lockheed Corporation, at National Air and Space Administration, 1982-86. Executive director, Center for a New Democracy, 1994-96. Founder and first executive director, National Network to End Domestic Violence, 1996-99. Board of Directors, League of Conservation Voters. Maryland's Top 100 Women, Daily Record, 2009. One son.
