Interim Report to Governor due July 15, 2010 (Executive Order 01.01.2010.07).

Final Report to Governor due Jan. 1, 2011 (Executive Order 01.01.2010.07).

In March 2010, the Governor created the Maryland Health Care Reform Coordinating Council (Executive Order 01.01.2010.07). Since the implementation of federal health care reform is a shared federal and State responsibility, the Council is to review the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 and identify those State laws and regulations that are affected. A timeline of decisions and actions for the State in implementing provisions of the federal law, and a computation of its annual fiscal impact on the State budget are to be developed by the Council. Finally, the Council will make comprehensive recommendations concerning health care reform policy and implementation.
